AIR DUCT CLEANING
Air ducts are the lungs of your home. What they breathe in, you breathe in. As your air duct system takes in air from outside, it also takes in airborne particles like dust, dirt, mold and fungi. Here at M.T.C.S we have invested in the most powerful equipment manufactured by Abatement Technology. Our HEPA-AIRE is a portable vacuum that will be placed within close proximity to your main trunk line. Next, we will cut a twelve inch gap into the main trunk line and will attach our high-powered vacuum. Our powerful vacuum will create a negative airflow which will allow us to go to each branch line and brush each line to the main trunk line. We will use a powerful brush to agitate and dislodge caked-on debris from inside duct surfaces and the negative air flow from the HEPA-AIRE will take the debris to the trunk line. After using the brush, we’ll use an air sweep down each branch line to the trunk line. After the branch lines are brushed and air swept, we will again use powerful brushes and air sweeps to clean the trunk line all the way back to the unit. When we are finished, we will patch the trunk line with sheet metal, zip screws, and foil insulation tape. Finally, we will also clean the duct coils.
